Anies Does Not Violate Campaign Rules, Prabowo-Sandi BPN Claims to Be Proud

Deputy Chairperson of the National Winning Body (BPN) Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno, Priyo Budi Santoso, responded to the Bogor Bawaslu verdict about Anies Baswedan not violating the rules of the election campaign because it posed two fingers. He acknowledged that since the beginning of the Prabowo-Sandi coalition, he believed that Anies did not violate the rules.

"Indeed, from the very beginning we believed that Pak Anies had not violated it, and I was proud of Governor Anies alone. He was in front of the Bawaslu session. But I made sure Anies was not alone. Alhamdulillah Bawaslu decided it was not a violation," Priyo said after discussion in Menteng, Jakarta , Saturday, January 12, 2019.

According to him, Anies as the Governor and national figure, in a unique way has prayed for Prabowo. It is considered as a political right.

"But the difference between us and the side, 01 stronghold, is often exposed, overtly consolidating all of the governor's strengths, the regents who are owned and broadcasting publicly. But forgetting one thing, such excessive things will cause antipathy to the public, "Priyo said.

In fact, according to Priyo, many regional heads have actually been won by the coalition.

"They can help win Prabowo-Sandi in ways and ethics of manners, but do not expose more than the size of the other side," Priyo said.
