Trans Papua Road is in Shambles Due to Extreme Weather

Suara Id. Jakarta - The Trans Papua road project in the Jayapura-Wamena road has suffered heavy damage. Damage caused by bad weather plus many vehicles passing.

Papuans are determined to cross the Trans Papua road in the Jayapura-Wamena road, although some are still in the process of being worked on. Trans Papua, the 575 km Jayapura-Wamena section has been connected, of which 230 km is still in the form of dirt and gravel roads.

Some points of this dirt road are prone to damage so that vehicles passing can be trapped when the road is really damaged.
