Lampung Earthquake Stricken 5.0 Richter Scale

Buletin Digital. The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency or BMKG released an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 on the Richter Scale that occurred in the Lampung region, Saturday, January 12, 2019.

Quoted from page bmkg.go.id, the earthquake occurred at 19.04 WIB, 6.86 South Latitude, 104.24 East Longitude, and 10 Kilometers depth.

Based on BMKG information, this earthquake occurred at 176 Km Southwest of Tanggamus, Lampung, 178 Km Southwest Pesawaran, Lampung, 186 Km Southwest Prongsewu Lampung, 199 Km West Daya Bandar Lampung, Lampung, and 297 Km Southwest Jakarta.

However, the earthquake that occurred in the Lampung region had no tsunami potential.
